ZooMates! was created for my 5 incredible and inquisitive children. My oldest son has Autism and his absolute love of animals was the driving force behind the creation of this website. He was nonverbal and struggled socially until the age of four. His passion for animals, not only increased his verbal communication dramatically, but also increased his social connection with those around him. I wanted to create a safe site where all children, including mine, could explore pictures and videos of their favorite animals.
